ABOUT AGAINST THE CURRENT

Against the Current Tattoo was opened by Alejandro (Alex) Vasquez in Dover, DE in January 2022. Alex was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he honed his skills as a tattoo artist before he eventually made his way to Delaware. As the Against the Current Tattoo shop owner, he has years of experience and rewards from countless contests and conventions as well as a vast portfolio of artwork that reflects his talents. Alex has a diverse skill set and does a plethora of styles, but is passionate doing Japanese influenced work.  Against the Current Tattoo shop is a calm, clean, and chill environment and pulls from Japanese aesthetic in its interior design.
